The Opening Blog

Hey guys! This is blog #1 and I will be making my analysis on future games that are worth betting on. After years of success in sports betting, I have decided to bring my picks online for all to see.

All lines are taken directly from my friends at 2betdsi.com and are taken at the time of posting. Lines change constantly and are vary by website and casino, so check the lines for where you are betting.

Major League Baseball is in full swing and with no NBA, NFL, NCAAB, NCAAF, or even the NHL. I will be directly focusing on baseball.

From time to time I might throw in various bets, such as college baseball or tennis if there is a bet I really like, but these will be tracked apart from my MLB picks.

2betdsi.com has plenty of different lines to offer, so I won't be focusing on just moneylines and over/unders.

Although many handicappers view these as just "prop" bets, lines such as who will score 1st, if a run will be scored in the first inning, and the total Hits+Runs+Errors in the game are some of the most profitable lines and easiest way to beat the books.

Sometimes you will also see me take "1st half lines" in baseball. Which is when only the first 5 full innings are taken into account in a bet. You may ask why not just bet the whole game, but this is because of shaky bullpens and sometimes pitchers have a great ERA through 5, and tend to fall off later in their starts.

The way this blog will run is different than my past posting of picks where units are used. I will be using a running total of my "bankroll". We will start this virtual bankroll at $10,000. Many of you don't have that bankroll to be betting with, some of the lucky few having even more. So if your betting bankroll is $1000, I would advise taking my bets and betting 1/10 of their totals. Someone with a $100,000 bankroll can 10x my bets. Just be advised that not everyone is using the same amount of money, so your bets should vary based on bankroll.

Something I have been careful about is never letting hot or cold streaks fool you. One game has NOTHING to do with another. The New York Mets don't care what the Seattle Mariners did yesterday. CC Sabathia couldn't care less about the results of the Giants-Padres over/under. The point is to take every game as its own, and never to chase your losses or think you "Can't Lose".

So with that I will end "The Opening Blog" and get to making my 1st MLB picks!
